Ghana statistical service launched it's official website for 2021 population and housing census.
The census which was scheduled for 2020 was cancelled because of covid 19 pandemic, however the vice president , Dr Mahamadu Bawumia launched the 100 days to the census night on Friday 19th March, 2021, at a celemony organized by the service. The vice president at the launch of the program admonished the general public to take the census very serious because its going to help the government to formulate programs for the economy growth of the country, the service after the launch of the 100 days to census night, took the opportunity to launched the the official website for the program.
The General public can get all information about the pending census on the website as well as job applicants who want to take part in the census can check on the website for the status of their applications.
The 2021 population and housing census which is the first digital population and housing census in Ghana will take place between June and July the year.
