Business men and women in the country has started lamenting over the 2022 budget. Majority of them has started complaining about how prices of goods and services has not been reduced in the 2022 budget. Today, the media has gone out to find out how traders across the country are feeling about the 2022 budget read by finance minister but responses from Ghanaians who gave another four years to president Nana Akufo-Addo has got angry at him and stated that he has betrayed them.
According to some people, President Nana Akufo-Addo never promised to increased taxes but promised to reduce taxes for them and make sure the system is flexible for them but they have gone to realization that, he tricked them.
Following that traders who sells at Mampong Toll booths in the Ashanti region where people believe to be NPP stronghold has stated that they are disappointed in president Nana Akufo-Addo for scrapping toll booths collection in the 2022 budget and stated that Nana Akufo-Addo have betrayed them.
Some people were very sad and expressed how they are suffering after voting for NPP government led by president Nana Akufo-Addo. Other people called on government to change the narrative whilst other people stated that they won't vote for NPP come 2024.
