Otumfour Osei Tutu II is a title because of his position in the Kingdom. That means every King or Chief of the Ashantis must be called Otumfour Osei Tutu.
However, this great man was born by the name 'Nana Barima Kwaku Duah'. He is the 16th Chief and King of the Ashanti Kingdom.
Beside that, he is Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi.
He is married with six children.
Due to his Position, he stays in a Palace in Manhyia and has a lot of international recognitions.
He has also solved several political disputes between Political parties in Ghana.
This has spread his name across the world to be a peace maker. Undoubtedly, he is the most powerful King in Ghana right now. He seeks to the wellbeing of the Ashantis. Most people wish he stays King till eternity because he deserves that title.
He preceded Opoku Ware II who was also the King of the Ashantis
