Farida Mahama, the daughter of former President John Dramani Mahama was born on 16th July 2004 meaning she is attained 17 years yesterday. Unfortunately, some Ghanaians made a comment about her which can be taken as child abuse. This is because, in Ghana, adulthood age commenced at age 18.
This is a similar comment the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Wontumi said about the girl some time ago. A Social Media User also made the same sexual harassment comment about DJ Switch some time ago.
It appears when these issues rise up, nobody takes them on so they keep on abusing little girls. If people are bold enough to abuse these little celebrities openly, you can imagine what they have been saying and doing to ordinary children under age.
The Presidential Staffer of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Nana Hesse Ogyiri yesterday made a romantic statement about Farida Mahama on Facebook. This suggested to some Ghanaians as if he wanted an intimate relationship with the daughter of the Former President. It appears his comment is even better.
Looking at the screenshot below, a Ghanaian by the name of Nana Ansah Obofour also took to social media and wrote that "Mahama's daughter Farida is only 14 years and she is already into makeup, the sexual relationship has been part of her life after the tax payers' money make her look good".
How can a Ghanaian make such a barbaric statement about the daughter of a former President? Elsewhere, you cannot make such a comment about little girls and go free but in Ghana people go beyond their freedom of speech and abuse innocent children.
