The Defence Minister has recently challenged the Member of Parliament for the Assin Central Constituency, Hon Kennedy Agyapong and Ghanaians to report any government officials and party gurus who are involved in the illegal mining. His comments follow the word of Kennedy Agyapong that he knows some NPP party officials who are supporting people do the illegal mining
According to Dominic Nitiwul, if you see people destroying water bodies and lands and you don't, you are causing more harm to the good people of Ghana. He stressed that the good people of Ghana to report such officials to the appropriate Authority.
“Any Ghanaian who has evidence that any top government official is mining illegally don’t leave it. If you have such information and you are keeping it, take it to the appropriate authorities, that is your civic duty. Let us know. If you’re a Ghanaian and you know somebody who is engaged in illegal mining whether it is a government official or not, let’s let us know and then we’ll deal with it from there". He challenged.
I think he is right and I support him this time. We should not watch them burning our excavators while theirs are in forests working. Let's react in the comment box and let's fight together.
