The Editor in Chief of the Insight Newspaper, Mr. Kwesi Pratt Junior has revealed that he will not allow anyone to block his growth.
Mr. Kwesi Pratt was speaking about a report compiled by the European Union on the 2020 general election of Ghana.
He indicates that there are several inconsistencies in the report and that does not tell a true story of what happened on Election Day.
Mr. Kwesi Pratt adds for example that, the reports capture Peace FM as the radio station that offered more airtime for the National Democratic Congress to propagate their message during the election. According to Mr. Kwesi Pratt, that assertion is untrue.
“The report says the only radio station that gave NDC more air time is Peace FM. I did not understand this because it is clear in the perception of the public that Peace FM is a pro-NPP station”. He noted.
According to him, the foreign observer missions are not interested in the growth of the country. Mr. Kwesi Pratt alleged that the foreign missions are only interested in the development of their countries whilst Africa suffers.
“Nobody can tell me that the EU is interested in our growth. They are rich because they have kept us poor. They are only interested in their development. It is only Ghanaians who can determine the future of this country and what happens in our election. That does not lie in the hands of any foreign observer mission. Colonialists cannot be talking to us about democracy because they don’t know what it is. They cannot superintend over our efforts. People who are against our growth cannot be dictating to us. Nobody can block our growth”. Mr. Kwesi Pratt Junior noted on the Alhaji and Alhaji program.
