There is an adage that goes by, united we stand, divided we fall and so, therefore, Ghanaians can win the battle of the 2022 budget if only they come together to fight it.
The reason why I am saying this, is because the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Caucus in Parliament has fought for the survival of Ghanaians, and finally, some of the key items in the 2022 budget have been taken out.
The key items that have been taken out from the 2022 budget are; tidal waves victims addressed as the government commits to phase two (2) of the Blekusu coastal protection project, the Agyapa deal, and automatic adjustments of fees that cover more than two thousand (2,000) items.
The tax on electronic transactions (E- levy) is not fully taken out from the 2022 budget because the government went to an agreement with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Caucus in Parliament to reduce the charges on the E- levy for the sake of Ghanaians.
