Akufo-Addo Donates GHc100,000 to Appiatse Support Fund to Help Victims.

President Nana Akufo-Addo has given GHc100,000 to the Appiatse Support Fund set up by the public authority


The asset was set up to help casualties of the blast that happened at Appiatse in the Western Region


The Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources sent off the asset on Thursday, January 27


President Nana Akufo-Addo has contributed GHc100,000 to the Appiatse Support Fund set up by the public authority to help casualties of the blast episode locally. On Thursday, January 20, 2022, a serious blast at Appiatse in the Western Region killed 14 people, and a few others supported wounds. The president said the foundation of the asset means that the public authority's obligation to supporting the people in question and reconstructing the local area,


An individual gift

President Akufo-Addo noticed that the gift was an individual motion and that the public authority will submit the required assets to help the asset towards restoring the local area.


He further referenced that he had entrusted the security offices to lead full and unbiased examinations concerning the occasions that prompted the blast, adding that people observed punishable will be made to confront the law.


A call to help the asset President Akufo-Addo encouraged Ghanaians, Corporate Ghana, and altruistic people, including outsiders to give to the asset. The Appiatse Support Fund was set up by the public authority through the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources and was sent off on Thursday, January 27, 2022.
