Investigative Journalist Manasseh Azure has been in the news media, social media, print media, broadcasting and other kinds of media recently and it is as a result of his continuous criticisms towards the government in power.
About a month ago he was in the news for applauding the former Auditor-General, Daniel Yaw Domelevo and criticized the government specifically the President for rendering such treatment to a public servant, which is the former Auditor-General.
Just a day ago, there were several contents all over the social media and news that, Manasseh has hailed three former Presidents for promoting free speech in the country and that has made Ghanaians attractive to foreign companies and institutions.
That claim or articles about his claim were very true, he took to his Twitter handle to state that, "Kudos to JA Kufour, Atta Mills, John Mahama and all who have promoted free speech and made us attractive to the likes of Twitter."
Below is what he wrote and posted on his Twitter account.
Manasseh Azure's post clearly reveals that Incumbent Ghanaian President Nana Akuffo Addo do not promote free speech.
Every reader and even those who hardly read could realize that, the post excluded the current President and the fact that he is the sitting President and Twitter made this announcement in his tenure of office could have meant that he made it possible for this happen.
But if his name is excluded then he clearly implies that President Akuffo Addo is against free speech.
