In an opinion published by Eng Prof on Tuesday, 3 days ago concerning the former president tour of the region, Eng Prof has advised and moulded remarks critical of what former President Mahama and the NDC has done for the region as compared to the votes it benefits from voltarians at home and countryside, saying it has little to show for as developments despite many years of being faithful and loyal to the NDC.
Read the full statement below.
Mahama came to Volta Region yesterday to reproject some of the work done by his administration from 2009 to 2016.
Key things of a substance projected on Global FM are the University of Allied Science and the construction of an airstrip but sadly he failed to point to any factories built for the people of the region.
President Mahama again forgot to recognize that his administration has failed the region for neglect of Aflao to Ho road and mentioned some controversial roads in Anlo district and some town roads in Ho to summarize his achievements.
Even though the lot of the NDC is better than the best of the ruling party in the region, it is important to note that to whom much is given much is expected.
The washing washing approach towards development and the neglect of the region after the party, NDC has won elections is over. The time has come for unemployment and the lack of proper roads in the region to stop. Town roads in Volta Region must change to reflect the rights of Voltarians after they vote the NDC into government. Voltarians are not beans they deserve employment avenues, the NDC cannot continue to justify the neglect of the region by the governing party and take the region for granted this is reprehensible.
