The popular and controversial social media self acclaimed celebrity, Akuapem Poloo has been trending in the early hours of this week as her trial prior to her posts on social media caused massive stir. She was seen in a picture that had herself and her son standing in a very unusual position. She had herself stripped of her clothes and making her son stand right in front her her in this picture.
Akuapem Poloo has been ordered by court to spend a period of 90 days in prison. This has met the controversial opinions on the media concerning a desire to pardon her as well as another to jail her. She was seen in a video being sent to custody after her trial and this has saddened the hearts of many who think this mother should not be separated for her young and innocent son.
The communications director for the national democratic congress who has been one of the most active social media users and youth advocate has spoken about this. Sammy Gyamfi who happens to be a lawyer himself has pleaded in the public space that she should be eased of this to some degree.
Since he is a lawyer himself, many have spoken on a possible action to help save her in any possible way he can. The questions coming from this is, will he save her? Or will there be any form of help he can offer to her? Kindly comment below.
