Sharing the experience with his fans on Instagram, the seasoned legislator indicated that he had been part of an event by Ghana National Association of Garment Makers, at Afienya to graduate twenty-six trainees.
The participants according to the MP, had undergone training programme and passed NVTI examination after their studies.
After charging the graduands to maintain the highest levels of professionalism in their individual practices, Sam Nartey Dzata George made generous donations to invest in their businesses.
“In line with the NDC's manifesto programme dubbed the National Apprenticeship Programme, over an 18-month period we would support the training and setting up of three hundred and fifty (350) garment apprentices. Other beneficiaries in hairdressing and other craftsman trades would be rolled out as part of my human capital development plan. So, help me GOD. Let's go!,” he wrote on his Instagram page.
Sam George's cry in that brief prayer will certainly be heard by God as many philanthropists are likely to emulate his shining example to empower more youth in the country.
