Evidence To Prosecute Government Appointees Involved In Galamsey Mining

His excellency Nana Addo has spoken about the alleged involvement of his appointees in illegal mining also known as galamsey. The president said he will not prosecute his appointees based on hearsay. The fact that the president has spoken on the subject means he cares about the issue of Galamsey and he takes it seriously

Not prosecuting appointees of government on hearsay is a very good thing. Not acting on here say or even just accusations with evidence is a good thing every good leader must learn and apply. The world has become more evil and wicked and so even if the president were to have been presented with evidence, he will still need to investigate to be very sure of a crime without any reasonable doubt before acting on it. This is because anyone can forge evidence and present it as the truth in other to achieve his or her cynical motives

The issue with galamsey or small scale mining is that even if the president appointees are involved in it, its highly improbable that the president would be able to find any evidence to prosecute anyone unless there is a deliberate attempt to find such a shred of evidence because no thief goes to steal expecting to be caught
