"Whatever we did to deserve this Government, God we are really sorry and we will repent"- ASEPA

The Director of Communications at the Office of the President of Ghana, Eugene Arhin has been jabbed following his comments on Facebook.

He shared this on social media as he wrote; "As a champion for democracy, Ghana is a supporter of free speech, online freedom, and the open internet, of which Twitter is also an advocate. Furthermore, Ghana's recent appointment to host the secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area aligns with our overarching goal to establish a presence in the region that will support our efforts to improve and tailor our service across Africa".

Mensah Thompson, Executive Director for Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA), made this assertions in a Facebook post reacting to Eugene Arhin statement wrote; "the IMF downgrades Ghana from a middle income country to lower income country here's what they are celebrating at the Jubilee house. Whatever we did to deserve this Government, God we are really sorry, we will repent".

Netizens has decended heavily on Eugene Arhin statement said the economy of this country is in crisis and intead to come out with reasonable comments you came out with "loose talks".
