The Electoral Chairperson, Madam Jean Mensah has surprisingly sued the Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin Yeboah, the Attorney General, and the Fix The Country convener. Her case was that it was not right for the Fix The Country convener to drop and release their petition to the media. She believed that this release has made Ghanaians ridicule and hate her together with her deputies. Also, she prayed the Supreme Court to legally put an injunction against the Chief Justice so that he will not be able to proceed and heed to what the Fix The Country petitioners and the President had told him to do.
This latest move by Jean Mensa has made Ghanaians massively react.
One Ghanaian explained that this act from Jean Mensa is backed by the President and Chief Justice himself so as to maintain her post as Electoral Commissioner. Others also blasted her for acting suspiciously since her first election which she conducted.
