Is The N/R Walk In Honour Of Jerry John Rawlings Or John Mahama 2020 Elections? See Photos

Most people in the Northern Region has today, Saturday 21st November 2020, embark on a walk in honour of the Founder of the Ghana's Fourth Republic, Ft. Lt. Jerry John Rawlings.

Some Ghanaians especially the New Patriotic Party (NPP) consider this walk as a propaganda walk just to get sentiments from electorates for votes. This is obvious true because most of the people are wearing their NDC party T-Shirts and other souvenirs.

And some of these NDC's souvenirs have the flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama picture and 2020 campaign message on it. It looks like the NDC is trying to get some sympathy votes out of the Rawlings death.

In 2012, when the Late President, John Evans Fiifi Atta Mills died, some Ghanaians said John Dramani Mahama won the elections out of the sentiments of the Professors death. But some Ghanaians said that this strategy of the NDC will not work this time round.

Some of the people were captured holding citation in honour of the Late Founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), J.J Rawlings and the walk is led by a banner in which has the inscription, "Rest Well Founder, 1947 to 2020.
