Should Ghanaians Believe That The Speaker Of Parliament Is Now Favouring NPP (Opinion)
The State of The Nation's Address (SoNA) has been the trending topic for today as the President of the republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo emphasized on many challenges and the way how his governance and the appointed ministers will help him have solutions to it especially the Ghana's economy.
As the president brought his speech to an end, the speaker of Parliament, Right honourable Kingsford Alan Bagbin introduced some dignitaries in the August house. The speaker of parliament discussed few issues and ask the house for the meeting to adjourned to another time. The majority leader, Honourable Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu moved the motion to be adjourned. As he (majority leader) moved the motion, it was seconded by the minority leader, Honourable Haruna Iddrisu.
Though the minority leader raised some issues concerning LGBTQ Right and among others.
The speaker of parliament stood on his toes and adjourned the house for him to know if the meeting must be adjourned. He asked the house for those in favor to continue the meeting should say "No No" and the minority group did it perfectly but the speaker of Parliament did not listen to them and adjourned the meeting.
This must call to other for the speaker of Parliament not listening to the minorities in the August house or if he (speaker of Parliament) want to favor the minorities then the good citizen of Ghana must know.
