Politics in Ghana has made so many citizens to lose interest in most of the politicians in the country. And as a matter of fact, some people on this our noble land do not want to do anything with politicians and their cunning ways of doing things.
But truth be told there are some of these Politicians or Members of Parliament who are worthy to be known and work with because of there contributions to the development of this nation.
Due to this, I want us all to know more about the new Member of Parliament, who is seen as one of the curviest members of Parliament in Ghana's Parliament.
Dorcas Afo-Toffey is the current or the 2020 Member of Parliament for the Jomoro constituency.
The Jomoro's Member of Parliament was born on the 4th of May 1973. She was born at Tikobo No 1 a town in the Jomoro constituency and district.
Dorcas Afo-Toffey attended her basic level education at Bonyere in the same constituency and pursued her second cycle education at Nkroful Agriculture Secondary School. She went to the United States to further her education.
She is married to Joseph Lawrence Ashun and has two children. One of her children is a musician in Ghana called Francine Koffi popularly known as Fantana.
Dorcas Afo-Toffey is the member of Parliament for the Jomoro constituency seat. She was elected as the member of Parliament on the ticket of the National Democratic Party ( NDC) during the 2020 general elections.
