Controversial issue have been causing mix reactions in the country. The jet in which the president used on embarking his trip to France Belgium and South Africa has generated many reactions in the country. Many have noted that the government should not have hired that costly jet for the president because the economy of the country is not stable.
Following all these comments, the member of Parliament for the Atigya Kwabre North, Hon Collins Adomako Mensah has added that the president, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo is not the only person to use a private jet to travel to do official Government business. According to him, former president John Dramani Mahama also used a private to embark on a trip but no body raised concerns so they people should leave the president alone.
This whole thing began after the MP for North Tongu posted the cost of a jet the president used to embark on his trip to three countries few weeks ago. According to Ablakwa, it will cost the country an amount of Gh¢ 2.8 million and also, tax payer of this country can only afford it for an hour if he or she has an amount of €15,000.
