The Deputy general secretary for the New Patriotic party, Nana Obiri Boahen has sent another message to members of the NPP.

Speaking on Adom TV this morning, Nana Obiri Boahen revealed that he will not contest for any position in the NPP again. He added that it is time to let others lead the party. He however added that even though he will not have a position in the party, he will always support the party actively.
Nana Obiri Boahen further revealed that NPP will soon have internal elections to elect their flag bearers. He added that he will present his own flag bearer to the party and it will be a historic moment. The flag bearer for the party will be from the Mamprusi tribe, he said. He believes that the party and the country will be transformed if his Mamprusi man leads.
One cannot be sure if his Mamprusi man is Bawumia or Alan Cash.
