Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata is amongst the few NDC members, who have had direct contact with all the Presidents of Ghana from the NDC family; John Jerry Rawlings, John Evans Atta Mills, and John Dramani Mahama. Today, Lawyer Tsatsu Tsikata shared some stories about the Late President, John Evans Atta Mills at the J. E. A Mills Memorial Lecture.
Tsatsu Tsikata revealed that as one of the members of the National Democratic Congress legal team, he saw the pressure which was mounted on the Late President immediately after he won power to prosecute some of Kuffour's people and Kuffour himself for engaging in corruption and other criminal acts.
Tsatsu Tsikate disclosed that Atta Mills decided not to seek vengeance on his political opponent. According to Tsatsu Tsikata, Atta Mills decided to focus on working for the people of Ghana and not focus on a political witch hunt.
Tsatsu Tsikata further confessed that Atta Mills never engaged in the dirty politics that many politicians are doing now.
