Founding Member of the New Patriotic Party and former member of Council of State Madam Ama Busia has revealed that she is very pleased with the works and contribution of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as Vice President to President Akufo-Addo.
In an interview, Madam Busia noted the Vice President has paid his dues to the New Patriotic Party over the period through his hard work, and consistent sacrifices he made to the party both in opposition and in government.
Madam Amma Bame Busia, younger sister of former Prime Minister, Dr. Kofi Abrefa Busia and an elder of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) further indicated that she had apologized to President Akufo-Addo to forgive her if she ever opposed the Selection of Dr. Bawumia as running mate.
"Dr. Bawumia has paid his dues to the New Patriotic Party... I told President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that if I ever opposed his selection of Dr. Bawumia as running mate, he should please forgive me. That young man (Dr. Bawumia) is a Gem. I hold Dr. Bawumia in high esteem and have unwavering faith in him."
Speaking to Okyeman TV, she boldly spoke of how the Vice President has led and driven the digitization agenda of the country with countless innovative ideas of revenue maximization and improvement in corporate governance.
