From Truck Pusher To Parliamentarian, The Inspirational Story Of MP-elect Of Madina Constituency

This year's election was marked by the majority of incumbent MP's losing their seats. One of the constituencies that witnessed a new face winning over an incumbent MP is the Medina Constituency in Greater Accra.

The new MP-elect of the Medina Constituency, Lawyer Francis Xavier Sosu hare shared his inspirational story of how he pushed his way up in life.

 In a recent video sighted by Encognito@gh on Instagram, the new lawmaker narrated how he struggled through life at the Malata Market in Accra. According to him, he had to push trucks and "sell everything sellable" just to make ends meet.

"even when I was elected as the Boys' Prefect of St John's Grammar Senior High School, I had to walk for miles to beg for money to be able to get to school." He said

Things however took a turn when he was adopted into an orphanage. It was at this point that he got some educational support and went on to become a Human Rights lawyer.

Mr. Xavier said after passing out, he felt that he string feeling that he had to give back to society by assisting others who find themselves in a similar condition.

He is currently going to represent the people of Madina in Parliament and we hope that he serves the people of Madina well.
