You can’t be saying whatever you like: Asiedu Nketiah boldly responds to the do or die comment

Honorable Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has spoken concerning the phrase of the moment, do or die. The all die be die comment that almost ended the political career of the president, his excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been repeated by the former president in a similar manner. The former president, Mahama’s do or die comment according to him is one that he thinks shouldn’t cause the stir it’s causing at the moment. Mahama least expected such a public criticism after the comment was made but this is Ghana, a country which prioritize democracy over many things.

Asiedu Nketiah just like the communications director for the national democratic congress has defended his party but has sent out these words. Asiedu Nketiah claims he is not only disappointed in what he’s hearing but also not surprised. He claims the way the country is going is something Ghanaians should be talking about because this path leads to nothing but destructions on the path of governance and the economic state of the country.

Asiedu Nketiah claims the Npp are trying their best to divert issues which are pressing matters of state into the current harms less comment made by Mahama. You can’t be saying whatever you like and go scot free and when someone makes one harmless comment, you pounce on it and use it to judge him- Asiedu Nketiah angrily stated in disappointment.

Asiedu Nkeatiah claims Nana Addo made a comment about the elections being an all die be die election and was allowed to walk freely and hailed by members of the Npp.

However, this harmless comment from Mahama is what people are seeing or referring to as war-calling comment. He stated that until the Npp decides to change their attitude, Ghanaians will forever be in the dark when it comes to true democracy and leadership. His disappointment just like his colleagues is about the fact that they’re doing this in these periods when election campaigns have not even begun.
