A Ghanaian US-based broadcast journalist with extensive experience in radio and television broadcasting, Kevin Ekow Baidoo Taylor has boldly said that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is well prepared to demonstrate in the street of Ghana.
Kelvin Taylor on LoudSilence TV today 18th March 2021 made this declaration over the measures that the National Democratic Congress have put in place to embark on a peaceful demonstration against the current government of Ghana.
According to him, most Ghanaians including media houses who fear to speak about the current state of the electricity crisis are doing more harm than good to the citizens of Ghana. They are showing to the people the kind of journalism work that they are doing as far as radio and television broadcasting is concerned.
He said, it came to a certain point in John Mahama's administration as President where Ghana’s movie stars joined blue-collar workers in demonstrations against power cuts, marching through the streets of the capital to demand an end to the west African nation’s ongoing energy crisis.
A march on Saturday in eastern Accra which spearheaded by Yvonne Nelson, an actress, model and beauty pageant contestant who helped popularize the hashtag #DumsorMustStop on Twitter and other social media applications.
All these people have kept silence on the same issue of Dumsor under the leadership of Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo.
However, I can boldly say it with all due respect that, the members of the National Democratic Congress are also ready to demonstrate over the Dumsor that has started across the country, Kevin Taylor added.
