The member of parliament for Mfantseman constituency, Hon Ophelia Hayford Quansah has been installed as a queen mother for Towoboase in the Mfantseman constituency.
Since she took over the mantle from her late husband to serve the people of Mfantseman constituency, Hon Ophelia Hayford Quansah has never disappointed the people and for this reason, to appreciate her good works, the people of Towoboase community conferred this honour to her.
The chiefs, queen mothers, leaders and the people of Towoboase community came together in appreciation for her good works and their expectations for more, installed her as queen mother of development in the community.
The member of parliament did not decline the offer, but gladly received the mantle and was successfully installed. She shared her joy after the ceremony on her Facebook page;
"The chiefs, elders and people of Towoboase community on the 17th April, 2022 installed Hon. Ophelia Mensah Hayford as a queen mother for the community in appreciation for some developmental projects done for the community as well as her excellent working relationship with the leaders of the community" she disclosed.
