According to the former Attorney General and Ghana’s High Commissioner to Canada, Nii Ayikoi Otoo, has indicated that, the Electoral Chair and her team must be held responsible for organizing a poor and fraud elections for Ghanaians.
However, the former Attorney General also stated that, Mrs Jean Mensah must to be put before court to answer questions about the elections. The questions about this elections are more than the answers. It is about time we start putting some of the EC officials before court, He aired.
Moreover, there has been many controversies around the just the 2020 elections. The 2020 elections recorded 5 deaths and 12 injuries. After the declarations of the presidential results by Mrs Jean Mensah on December 9, 2020, they have changed the presidential results 6 times, which is unprecedented in the history of Ghana's election.
Prior to the declaration of the results, the leaders of the National Democratic Congress warned the Electoral commission that, they will not accept a fluadent results. However, last week, the campaign manager for the New Patriotic Party, Peter Manu also indicated that, the Electoral commission credited some votes to NDC, so the elections was not credible.
