The Ranking Member of Foreign Affairs Committee of Parliament, Mr Okudzeto Ablakwa has called on President Akufo-Addo to call the military men deployed into the Ejura township since yesterday to order.
In a Facebook post, the North Tongu MP reiterated that Parliament will leave no stone unturned in pursuing justice for those who lost their lives in the shooting spree today.
"There can be absolutely no justification for the unprofessional and indiscriminate firing of live ammunition into a peaceful protest of harmless youth in Ejura today leading to the killing of at least two with many battling for their lives.
"The Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, President Akufo-Addo must immediately call his men to order, ensure severe sanctions and assure the nation that he will put an end to the climate of brutalities and increasing gross human right violations. As we stated in Parliament earlier today, the House shall vigorously pursue justice in this matter".
