Joy all over Bono Region after 77 year old journalist, Kojo Agyenim Boateng tactically beat the chief of Drobo to win the Bono Region Council of State elections

The 77 year old Kojo Agyenim Boateng, A journalist has won the Bono elections for a representative to the council of state after pulling 15 out of 24 votes to retain his seat.

George Adjei Henneh A 65 year old lecturer came 2nd with 5 votes.

The omanhene of Drobo traditional area Nana Okokyeredom Sakyi Ako II place 3rd with only 3 votes whiles 42 year old Adu Gyimah Dominic a teacher and Boahen Kwabena ,39 and an agronomist both got zero votes.There was one rejected ballot.The total votes cast was 24.

The Bono region has 12 Municipal and District Assemblies.

His victory prove his experience in the as the election which was very keenly contested, he emerged as winner despite his age. We congratulate him for his Victory, everyone would love to represent the region
