The aspiring Ashanti regional Chairman and former NPP MP for the Ejisu constituency, Owusu Aduomi, has been "fired" by Hopeson Adorye for telling a host on live TV to ask President Nana Addo to explain his "y3ti sika so" comment. Hopeson Adorye explained that he had lost all the respect he had for the former MP overnight.
Speaking on the Boiling point on Oman FM, Hopeson Adorye reminisced how in 2016, Owusu Aduomi told Nana Addo that he, Nana Addo, was 'lying" about his claims of the inflated cost of construction of the Kasoa interchange. Hopeson Adorye recalled that President Nana Addo still looked over that and appointed Honorable Owusu Aduomi as Deputy Road minister in his first term.
Hopeson Adorye expressed surprise at the inability of the former deputy minister to defend President Akuffo Addo for the second time.
"You cannot defend your leader and you want to be President? Because of him, I will storm the Ashanti region tomorrow. I will make sure you never become a chairman in the NPP.", he said boldly.
