Reports in the media suggest the National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi is set to marry his long-time girl in a private ceremony.
The ceremony, according to the reports, will be held at the Chain Homes in Accra, and expected to be graced by top functionaries of the NDC, including former President John Dramani Mahama.
The report also suggests that the marriage was earlier scheduled to take place in November but was later postponed until after the NDC’s Delegates’ Congress, in which Sammy Gyamfi was seeking re-election.
With the Congress now over, Sammy Gyamfi is now set to tie the knot with his fiancé, whose name is yet to be disclosed.
Sammy Gyamfi has a 10-year-old son but it is unclear if the lucky lady he is set to marry today is the same woman he has a child with.
The marriage ceremony is strictly by invitation per the media reports.
