Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyabeng has once again done his job in ensuring to cure the disease of corruption in this country. Kissi Agyabeng who succeed the role from Martin Amidu has called for the arrest of NDC activist Dela Cofie who is well known in the NDC for his contribution to the party.
The OSP in a notice dated June 3, 2022, disclosed that Mr. Coffie is wanted over issues of corruption and forgery of official documents. Mr Kissi Agyabeng however went ahead to describe the physical feature of Dela Cofie for the public to help in getting him for the prosecution. Which gingered a quick response from Dela Cofie to the camp of special prosecutor.
“Preliminarily, I want to state that I am available right here in Ghana and will submit myself to any queries of law enforcement agencies as I have nothing to hide. “As regards context, my understanding is that the Special Prosecutor is linking me to a petitioner, who has lodged a petition before his office against former Minister Atta Akyea,” Mr. Coffie disclosed.
It is now reported that Mr Cofie has been arrested and detained for questioning of contributing in corruption over government property. Thanks, kindly follow me for more updates and share as well.
