The above assertion by the ace broadcaster turned politician is not novel from the camp of the biggest opposition party in the country, the National Democratic Congress after former Deputy Sports Minister Hon Joseph Yamin tagged the incumbent Sports Minister as the worst in Ghana’s history.
Throwing more light on the reasons behind his comments, Hon Dickson Kwabena Kyere, affectionately called Stugard during his active days as a broadcaster questioned the role of the sector Minister in ensuring football returns while jabbing him for resorting to dissolution after Ghana football was rocked with corruption scandals following the Number 12 expose by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
“Sports Minister Isaac Asiamah is the worst Sports Minister in the history of Ghana,” Mr. Kyere told Accra-based Angel 102.9 FM.
He also continued: “Isaac Asiamah was faced first with Anas Expose and the only solution Asiamah provided was halting football. It was a very poor decision,”
“Football has resumed in a lot of countries across, here in Ghana COVID-19 restrictions have been eased so why can’t football resume?,” He quizzed
