Okudzeto believes someone was sneaked into parliament to impersonate the Dome Kwabenya MP in order to pass the 2022 budget of the government.
He made the comments on Joy FM’s Super Morning Show on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
“From videos we are receiving today, we are sensing that there has been a case of impersonation,” he said. “We believe the person presented as Hon. Adwoa Sarfo is someone else. We are still investigating.”
However, his colleague MP from Okaikwei Central, Patrick Boamah who was also on the programme, said the claims by Okudzeto were unfounded.
According to him, before parliament approved the budget, they held a caucus meeting and Adwoa Safo was present. He further noted that she interacted with other MPs.
A video suggesting a different person represented Adwoa Safo in parliament has been circulating on social media among NDC activists.
They alleged that the person in the video is not the Dome Kwabenya MP and has since been demanding for investigation.
