John Mahama Descends On Akufo-Addo As He tells Him To Investigate Into The Killing Of Ahmed Suale

Former president of Ghana John Dramani Mahama has once again stepped on the foot of Ghana's President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as he put it to him to investigate into the killing incident of Ghanaian investigative journalist Ahmed Suale.

He made this clear on his Facebook page as he was addressing the killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh.

According to the former president, the killers of the hard-working journalist are still working around freely while the family of Ahmed Suale and the state are still unable 5o fill the vacuum that the killing of Ahmed Suale has created.

"Having said that, we also note that the murderers of Ghanaian journalist, Ahmed Suale, are still walking free. We call on the Akufo-Addo administration and the Police Service to take this investigation seriously and bring the murderers to justice", he stated.

Furthermore, former president Mahama expresses his bitterness about the killing of the ace journalist Shireen. Stating some achievements of the Shireen, Mahama recollects how Shireen has tried to bring reports from events in Israel and the Middle East.

"The killing of ace Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh is a most condemnable act. For a journalist who has for many years covered and brought us reports of events in Israel and the Middle East region, we all mourn her loss. It is our prayer that whoever pulled the trigger and any associates will be brought to justice through an independent and transparent process.", Mahama wrote.

Shireen Abu Akleh was on January 3, 1971, and she was a Palestinian-American journalist who energetically worked as a reporter for the Arabic-language channel of Al Jazeera for over 25 years. She was also one of the top names across the Middle East for her years of reporting in the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories. On May 11, 2022, She was shot and killed while covering an Israel Defense Forces raid on the West Bank city of Jenin.
