The deity of Nogokpo is believed by some sections of Ghanaians to be a very potent deity that most people fear. Most Ghanaians believe that the deity has the ability to determine between truth and falsehood and so, certain individuals do mention it in case of certain challenges.
As the member of parliament for the North Tongu Constituency in the person of Honourable Okudzeto Ablakwa seeks to react on an alleged agenda by the government of Ghana to purchase an ultra modern presidential jet, Ghanaians troupe to his facebook page to challenge and mock him.
It can be recalled that the honourable member of parliament has vowed to stop at nothing in his bid to call for accurate accountability to the state on the luxurious hiring of private jets by the president of Ghana on his international travels.
However, the honourable parliamentarian has hinted that it seems that the hiring of the private jets was simply a forerunner to avail the real agenda of purchasing a new presidential jet that fits the model of the private jets that the president of the Republic of Ghana has been hiring.
Taking a look at the reactions on his post, Alhassan Abass has thrown a challenge to the honourable parliamentarian as to whether he has never booked a first class or business class section of an aeroplane before. As if that was not enough, he has called upon him to swear by the deity of Nogokpo. Take a look at the reactions below.
Alhassan Musah Muller has also alleged that the Honourable member of parliament has nothing better to say against the president. He goes on to mock the parliamentarian saying, he has resulted to what he terms as petty allegations.
Michael Kpegla has tried to explain the reason why it is necessary for the president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo to use a private jet instead of the presidential jet. He claims that the presidential jet is faulty and so the need for the president to resort to other means of transport.
