The host of Good Evening Ghana, Paul Adom Octhere has finally replied former President, John Dramani Mahama over the performance of President Akufo-Addo and whether or not he performed badly that is why we are going to the International Monetary Fund for an economic bailout.
John Mahama has consistently revealed that Ghana is currently in economic hardships because of the mismanagement of the Akufo-Addo government. Mahama reiterated that President Akufo-Addo and his people should be held responsible for the crisis in Ghana now and not any global issues like Covid-19 and Russia-Ukraine war.
Meanwhile, Paul Adom Octhere while speaking on his sow today strongly disagreed with John Mahama. He revealed that even though Mahama was growing the country at just 3 percent, he couldn't do free SHS, one district one factory, Digital address system, recruitment of public sector workers among others. He added that, the Akufo-Addo government has done all that and managed the economy well but we are only going to IMF because of the effects of Covid-19 which every country is feeling in the world.
“ How can people say we are going to IMF because of mismanagement from the Akufo-Addo government. When they picked the country from John Mahama, he was only growing the economy at 3 percent but couldn't do free SHS, one district one factory, National ID Cards, and a whole lot of other things that have been achieved by this government. It tells you that Ghana is currently going to IMF just because of the effects of the Covid-19 and the Russia-Ukraine war which every country in the world is experiencing. Let's not forget so soon all that this Akufo-Addo government has done.” Paul Adom Octhere boldly revealed this on show.
Do you agree or do you disagree with Paul Adom Octhere?
