Alan Kyerematen To Face NPP National Steering Committee Over "Aduruwoso" Walk ; Ghanaians React

The general secretary for the New Patriotic Party, Justin Koduah has issued a statement from the camp of the party to some individuals who have recently violated the laid down rules of the party.

The three- page letter makes it clear that the Minister of Trade and Industries, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanten has been invited by the Steering Committee of the NPP to answer questions about the just ended "Adurowoso" health walk. The said health walk was organized in his name of Alan Kyeremanten even though he wasn't present during the walk. The letter reveals that such walk was against the rules of the party.

"Additional, under the institutions of the National Steering Committee, Mr. Alan Kyeremanten has been written to in respect of the "Adurowoso" Health Walk which was organised in his name" the letter states.

Aside this Hopeson Adorye, who happened to be a key member of this health walk for Alan Kyeremanten has been invited by another committee to explain himself the reason he violated the rules despite the warnings given to them.

Some Ghanaians have reacted to this trending story and below are some reactions.

From the few reactions above, some Ghanaians believe that this step by the party against Alan Kyeremanten is not the right way. This is because other members of the party declared their support for Dr. Bawumia but the party failed to invite them for questioning. Others heaped praises on the executives of the party for making this bold statement. They believe that it will serve as a deterrent to others.

It all started when some supporters of Alan Kyeremanten in the Ashanti region organised a health walk to honour him and also campaign for him. This according to the party was against their rules.
