Just In: Mahama Calls Bawumia After His Mother's Death To Console Him

Former President of the Republic of Ghana who also doubles as the leader for the opposition National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has caused massive stir online after he shared a conversation with Dr. Bawumia on his official Facebook page. John Mahama in a reaction to the death of the mother of Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia has said that he just spoke with Bawumia. Mr. Mahama has revealed that he has called Dr. Bawumia to speak to him about his mother's demise.

Today, September 13, 2021 the Vice President of the country and the Ghanaians were thrown into a state of uneasiness and shock as the news about the death of his mother. Her death has left pain in the hearts of many Ghanaians who have joined Dr. Bawumia to express their deep condolences to him and his family.

Many prominent figures including First Lady Rebecca Akuffo-Addo and other government have shared the pain of the loss of his mother. Few minutes ago, John Dramani Mahama has also indicated that he has called his brother Bawumia to speak to him after he heard of his mother's death. Mahama knows that mothers are a blessing to everyone and therefore it takes courage to endure through what Bawumia is going through.

In a post sighted on his official Facebook page, Mr. Mahama sent a consoling message to Bawumia and exhorted him. Mr. Mahama added that the great Allah grant her soul a peaceful rest. Read his original post below;

Mahama's kind gesture have left Ghanaians jaw dropping as it signifies a sign of maturity from both sides. Indeed, such kind and honorable gestures are what Ghana needs to develop. Politics cannot be a bridge to stampede peace in th country. Ghanaians have also joined him to console Bawumia and his entire family.
