Support for the president is what we are all hoping or vouching for. Even though the country might be having some issue with this current government, they are to be in power for four years. And this means helping and holding the county side by side with the president is something that is very necessary.
When the ndc are in power, we often see the Npp hoping that the government under the Ndc leadership fall apart so that they can have a chance in the next elections. This happens for not only the Npp but the Ndc as well. The matter leads to a reoccurring event of intentions to sabotage and this does not promote the growth of the country.
This is an attitude that affects the entire country and not these parties alone and that is what Kwesi Pratt wanted to make known to Ghanaians today. From Kwesi Pratt who has been giving his genuine opinions on the presidential elections and government says what is best for the country is what matters most.
Kwesi Pratt said, I believe in a national support for the president even if we are not really seeing the change we want to see because at the end of the day we are Ghanaians and we face the results of his governance.
He said this to advise Ghanaians against the mindset of leaving the government to do whatever their heart desires and not caring because they do this at their own cost.
Kwesi Pratt thinks it’s best for the entire country to throw in their support for the government. Whiles he explained why this is necessary, he also said that the president, his excellency Nana Addo should not think he is having just one term left so he can do anything anyhow.
Because this is one of the mistakes most people do when they are leaving office. And that is only because some of them do not know about the importance of leaving a good name or legacy before leaving office. Kwesi Pratt also asked ministers to focus on the country and not their pockets because that’s what is ruining the country.
