It seems His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo is getting a new nickname following the works he is doing recently. Few days ago, Akufo-Addo commissioned the Pokuase Interchange, after that, he commissioned a Regional Hospital at the Savannah Region. It seems like His Excellency the president has commissioned about four projects in just a week.
Today, the president has commissioned the National Mosque Complex which was funded by the Government of Turkey. This Complex contains a grand mosque which is the second largest in West Africa, an office complex for the National Chief Imam, a clinic fitted with laboratories and a pharmacy, a library and a morgue and other great features.
It seems the president has gotten himself into trouble for commissioning a project which was funded by a different country. A lot of people following the recent commissioning by the president has given him a new nickname. Some have called our president Mr. Commissioner and they have thanked him for that. Many too have noted that the president should stop the commissioning and start creating jobs in the country.
"What you saw today with all the facilities cost the Turkey Government 10million dollars but you are building a cathedral with no such facilities with 100million dollars. This is a clear example of Africa been a problem of leadership." One of the commentators shared.
