Ghanaians Are Now Uncomfortable Listening To Akufo Addo And Dr. Mahamud Bawumia - MP For Jirapa

The hardships in Ghana are on the ascendency, and the recent hikes in the prices of fuel will make things worse for the ordinary Ghanaian if pragmatic steps are not taken to alleviate the plights of Ghanaians.

Reacting to the recent hikes in the prices of fuel on 'HOT NEWS' on Pan Africa television, the Member of Parliament for Jirapa Constituency, Cletus Seidu Dapilah, has indicated that Ghanaians have become uncomfortable listening to President Akufo Addo and Dr. Mahamud Bawumia for their failed promises, and their consistent lies to Ghanaians.

According to Cletus Seidu Dapilah, this current NPP administration understood Ghanaians and knew that they can be deceived, and they capitalized on it.

"The President and NPP knew that Ghanaians can be deceived, so things that are not possible are what they promised Ghanaians, and they touted it for Ghanaians to accept it hook line and sinker. They know that when they win the elections and are not able to fulfill those promises, by then they are already in power, so there is nothing we can do to them."

Cletus Seidu Dapilah indicated that they tried to tell Ghanaians that those promises by the NPP were not possible, but they succeeded in deceiving the people that they were possible, and now they are struggling with it.

"How can they increase petroleum prices without at least cushioning the Ghanaian workers? No payment of salary arrears and just a 4% increase in their salaries. The government should know that the Ghanaian workers needs cushioning in other to survive in this challenging times."

Cletus Seidu Dapilah revealed that with these hikes in fuel prices by the end of this week, there is going to be an increase in everything including lorry fares in this country.

"Ghanaians are now uncomfortable listening to President Akufo Addo and Dr. Mahamud Bawumia. That is why Dr. Mahamud Bawumia has stopped giving his economic lecturers because all the things he talked about before coming to power have turned out to be false."

Cletus Seidu Dapilah added that he believes that when the NPP listens to some of the audios and videos on what they said before coming into power, they will be ashamed and feel guilty about themselves.
