In his recent post on Facebook, Sam George revealed that he is 100% sure and confident that no sim card in Ghana will be blocked on Saturday, 1st October, 2022.
"I am 100% confident that ABSOLUTELY NO SIM card would be blocked tomorrow! This is a victory for the Ghanaian people who are waiting on the NIA to produce their Ghana Cards for them. For God and Country" he said.
The Minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu has said on several occasions that any Ghanaian who fails to register his or her sim card by 30th September, 2022 will find himself or herself wanting on 1st October, 2022. This means that their sim cards will be blocked.
A lot of Ghanaians who have not registered their sim cards are not doing that on purpose. They have not being issued with their Ghana Cards that can enable them to register. Sam George believes that the ministry of communications will not go ahead and block the sim cards of Ghanaians on 1st October, 2022.
