The Ghana Police Service has been in the news a lot over the last few weeks. Their recent action that brought them to the limelight was the clash with the NDC minority in parliament. They prevented the minority from getting to the office of the EC. While TV personality Serwa Amihere described their actions as disrespectful, A-Plus says only a few members of the police are enlightened, with many more who are primitive and don't know where the world is.
General manager of Class Media Group and well spoken activist A-Plus has descended on the Ghana Police Service in one of his recent Facebook post. Commenting on yesterday's clash between the police and the NDC minority, he said the Ghana Police Service has just a few good men who are enlightened with many primitive officers who don't know where the world is. Launching his attack on the police he said they have used the guns in their hands to threaten people for long and it is time people talk about it. He said the gun they have is not meant to be pointed at anyone at anytime.
A-Plus said the police always beat people up in the name of ensuring order even if a demonstration is peaceful. He commended the NDC minority for going on the peace walk themselves and not sitting in their offices for people to do so for them. He jabbed the police for not being able to use their guns on the parliamentarians (officers of the law). A-Plus questioned the attitude of the Ghana Police and said we live in a civilized world now.
