Nearly to the 2012 elections we heard the heart breaking demise of the late President John Evans Atta Mills. After his demise the political environment changed quickly and eagerly. The NDC named their manifesto " Advancing the Better Ghana Agenda".

These are some of the quotes from the NDC;

"The 2012 National Democratic Congress manifesto therefore underscores our devotion to build a wealthy society"

"The private and public sector policies and lined up programmes have been successfully in building foundations for the sustained prosperity that we promised our people"

Some Of The Manifesto Of The NDC;

1. Eliminate schools under trees and provide well facilities for all rural schools in the country.

2. They promised to quickly expand and provide easy access for every child to enter and complete basic education and enter and complete secondary school.

3. Under the health sector they promised to double the number of Community based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) environment from about 1,600 to 3,200 to meet the needs of under-served communities.

4. Under the sector of Youth and Sports, the NDC promised to establish a ten million Ghana Cedis jobs and support young people to become successful entrepreneurs and create sustainable job.

The New Patriotic Party later on postponed it's manifesto to the 18th October later that year to outline it's plans to transform the country as well.
