Yayra Koku, who is a member of the National Democratic Congress has angrily stated that he will report NPP National Organizer, Sammy Awuku to Public Sector Commission. Yayra Koku in a statement shared with Ghanaians stated that the NPP National Organizer has violated the public sector rules and regulations.
According to him, Sammy Awuku is still holding the National Organizer position for NPP after his appointment to National Lottery Authority (NLA) by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Yayra Koku explaining the issue stated that Sammy Awuku could have resigned from that position immediately he was appointed to NLA but he did not as he had noticed.
Yayra Koku disclosed that at the burial ceremony of Dr Bawumia's mother in Walawale, Sammy Awuku was introduced to the gathering as the NLA boss and NPP National Organizer which is unacceptable to him. To Yayra Koku, Sammy Awuku cannot hold the two positions based on public sector rules and regulations in the country.
He told the NPP party led by President Nana Akufo-Addo that they should come clear on Sammy Awuku's appointment for the violation of laws by this NPP government is becoming too much, and he will personality report Sammy Awuku to the public sector commission.
"Why is Sammy Awuku still holding the National Organisers position of the NPP after his appointment?
At the Burial ceremony of Dr Bawumias mother in Walewale yesterday, Mr Sammy Awuku was introduced to a gathering as the NLA Boss and NPP National organiser. This is a clear violation of public sector rules and regulations. He can't hold both positions.
The NPP party and government should come clear on this. The violations in this government are getting too much.
I will personally petition the public sector commission on this" Yayra Koku said on his social media wall.
