"The Sea Defence Project Could Help Save That Area" S. K. Sarong Fumes

No one is delighted at the devastation wrought by the tidal waves on the good folks of Keta and the surrounding areas.

If given enough attention and built, the sea defence project could help save that area of the country from being constantly battered by tidal waves.

The Ministry of Works and Housing has told us that phase two of the project will begin sooner than expected, which is very encouraging.

Dzifa Abla Gomashie's morally superior posture is weird and hypocritical. She has chastised President Akufo Addo's administration for failing to complete the maritime defence project.

Despite being a deputy minister under Mahama, Abla Gomashie used to attend cabinet meetings. On Citi FM's Eye Witness News, she stated as much. This project has been in the works for a long time. What was she going to do about it?

Why is she blaming this government for the project's delays while her party has been in power for many years without even Iconsidering the project?

She should put an end to her populist, hypocritical, and pretentious attitude of caring so much about her people while the reality is quite the reverse!

If she and her NDC party are to be held accountable for the project's years of delaying, they must first assume that responsibility. She has no moral right to cry crocodile tears because she did nothing about the project when she was in a position to do so.
