Revealed: Joseph Yamin 'marked' to contest for this position in 2022; Is it a big win for NDC?

A communique has been released on the microblogging site twitter that reveals about a decision has been taken by the former deputy minister for sports and Ashanti Region, Hon. Joseph Yamin. In 2022, the NDC will go on primaries to elect leaders who will lead the party to contest the general election in 2024. Leaders of the party are elected prior to the elections to make sure that, footwork will be done properly which will make the party gain grounds to re-capture power.

Though it is not clear for the person who will lead in terms of the flag bearership but Hon. Joseph Yamin has revealed the slot he will pick to contest. The twitter handle by name 'NDC web' revealed that, the former deputy minister for sports has confirmed about his determination to contest for the National Organiser position in 2022 for the opposition New Democratic Congress.

Is it going to be a tight contest between him and the incumbent Joshua Hamidu Akamba? Well, it is yet to be fully declared by Hon. Joseph Yamin but per the information that was released by NDC Web, it is sure that he will contest for that slot. Will this decision take the National Democratic Congress to the next level by helping the party to recapture power? The results will be known after everything is settle and Ghanaians go for the polls in December 2024.
