Ghana heading to the IMF has generated a lot of reactions all over and as at now, Ghanaians are not settled with government on the same side in ramekin with government’s decision to seek for a bailout. This has forced government to deploy some of its competent members to preach about the positive impacts as well as defending the option for the loan to Ghanaians via media stations.
We have a lot of these government officials on many radio and television stations speak on the IMF bailout Ghana is about to contract. Speaking today on radio was the Informations Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah On the above subject.
Writing from the official twitter page of Of Ghana web is a challenging question asks by Kojo Nkrumah to Ghanaians about the IMF. “Was Seth Terkper sacked when Ghana went to the IMF under Mahama?”, he asked. This is as a result of the pushing of many Ghanaians on the sacking or resignation of the current finance minister claiming he has performed poorly.
This agenda started from when he gave a breakdown of the covid-19 accrued funds in parliament which left many marveled. The figures in the breakdown provided him was deemed by many Ghanaians to be fake and forged hence started to push for his resignation and sacking.
Find below some of the comments I gathered from some concerned citizens in relations with the above statement by the sector minister via the official website of Ghanaweb.
What is your reply to Kojo Nkrumah’s question? Let it be heard in the comments section below. Don’t be left out. Have a nice day.
