1. Choose a suitable burial date - Akuffo-Addo to Rawlings's family.

The Office of the President has requested that the family of the late Jerry John Rawlings select a suitable date for his burial. This move is to help government plan a befitting ceremony for the late statesman. Government's request follows that agitations made by the Awadada of Anlo state on government's declaration of December 23 as the burial date for the former statesman.

2. Fire guts Kantamanto market.

News reaching Ghana Guardian indicates the popular Kantamanto market in Accra is on fire. The cause of the fire is not immediately known to this portal but we understand personnel of the Ghana National fire Service (GNFS) are already at the scene to salvage the situation.

3. Bawumia visits Kantamanto fire victims.

Vice President has paid a visit to victims of the Kantamanto market fire outbreak today, December 16th, 2020. He was there to inspect the extent of the damage caused and also condole with them and also said that the government will provide the needed help and put in place the good measures.

Radio show host and Reggae musician Blakk Rasta says the change in figures by the Electoral Commission on the 2020 election is evidence enough to prove that the election was not credible.

7. 2020 BECE results released .

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the 2020 BECE results. WAEC in a statement said: they wish to inform its public that the provisional results of candidate who sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination for the school candidates, 2020 has been released.

8. Jean Mensa-led EC will go down in history as Ghana's worst - Mahama.

The NDC flag bearer, John Dramani Mahama, has described the Jean Mensa-led Electoral Commission (EC) as the worst the country has seen. Mr. Mahama arrived in the Bono East Capital, Techiman earlier today to visit the families of victims of election-related violence in the Techiman South Constituency.

9. John Dumelo Turns A Comedian After Failed Political Ambition- Drops Funny videos on Twitter.

John Dumelo after failing to become a member of Parliament for the NDC has switched professions and joined the comedy business. it is said that at the lowest points is where you find your talents. We wouldn't have Known Dumelo was such a good comedian until he lost to Madam Lydia Seyeram Alhasan in the Parliamentary election at Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
